The concealed bar is the heart of a security window. Marva utilizes a ½” solid tempered rod (6063-T5) integrated to the design which forms a very strong security barrier that protects against forced entry. The bar runs through the jambs and is secured in place with stainless steel dowel pins.

Our windows have been tested by the "Miami Testing Laboratories" to withstand 270mph positive pressure and 150mph negative pressure. Every louver is sealed in the perimeter with "Neoprene" weatherstrip that prevents air and water infiltration from the outside.
Our "sub-frame" installation system dramatically increases the structural strength of the windows, and conceals irregularities in walls and ceilings.
